Yes! Our original intention is important to use constantly as a processing filter for our experiences and our decisions. It is a vital navigational tool that keeps us on true course.

I have a bumper sticker that says "Remember who you wanted to be." I have another that says "Something wonderful is about to happen!" (The latter is the former for me.)

I think it would be fantastic if we could frequently ask ourselves and everyone around us--especially everyone to whom we give the power to change our lives (elected leaders, spouses, health care practitioners, etc.) to STATE who we wanted to be, who we want to be now and why the change (if any).

But, then, I have always been an incorrigible idealist.
